Sigma Sports Solutions, a Canadian based sports management company which provides professional management services within the global football/soccer scene will be the new face for The Hill Academy Soccer Program.  Sigma brings an incredible package to the Hill with the ability to not only develop our students to their fullest potential but to maximize their opportunities for a future within the sport.
The focus of The Hill’s Soccer Program will be to provide the highest quality of systematic training with a universal philosophy lead by the Technical Director and professional coaching staff with vast experience in player development both domestically and internationally. They will plan and implement a program of proper development and education based on technical and scientific specifications to training of the leading professional development schools.
As is evident from the above mentioned objectives, The Hill Academy’s Soccer Program is driven first and foremost by providing aspiring young soccer players the absolute best in player development.  Soccer players will learn the valuable principles of team tactics, vision and creativity which will allow them to play this sport with the maximum amount of fun, respect and discipline needed to excel. Through a combination of on field training, in class theory and competition, The Hill students will receive an experience identical to that of an overseas professional youth player.  Through this program, a student athlete is only limited to their own commitment, personal drive and talent within. Students will spend three days per week on-field along with a daily sport specific strength and conditioning routine.  Student athletes will be introduced and prepare for their post secondary options with regular competition and showcase tours within the GTA and on occasion, the United States and Europe.

Technical Director - Bobby Smyrniotis (BA, MSc, UEFA B)

As the technical Director of SIGMA Sports, Bobby Smyrniotis has had the opportunity to enhance the level of soccer within the elite ranks of youth development in Ontario. He brings years of experience from the European football scene after a successful time period with Olympiacos C.F.P and several years of cooperation with AFC Ajax of Amsterdam as a youth football coach. Prior to this Bobby Smyrniotis has had years of managerial and coaching experience in the service and youth football sectors in Ontario, Canada. As a former Scholarship athlete and European youth player Bobby has the knowledge and experience required to provide inspiration to future student-athletes at the Hill Academy. Bobby Smyrniotis holds a B.A in Kinesiology from York University of Toronto and an M.Sc in Sport Management from the University of Louisville, along with the UEFA "B" coaching license attained via the Hellenic Football Federation.

Technical Coordinator - David A.E. Zonneveld (USSF C)

David Zonneveld brings years of experience to the table from the Canadian football/soccer scene. In his semi professional playing career, he spent two years in the Ontario Soccer League (OSL), one year in the Petro-Canada Soccer League (PCSL) and three years in the National Soccer League (NSL). In 1997 he was the first full Time Head Coach in Ontario for the Georgetown Soccer Club. Since that time, he has held positions on the Men’s Soccer Program coaching staff for the University of Guelph – 1999 to 2000 and as well York University from 2001 to 2003. David Zonneveld is a regular fixture in the local GTA as a Coaching instructor for several Ontario based soccer clubs and has also been a Trade Show Instructor for the Ontario Soccer Association (OSA).
