The Hill Academy announces first Honor Roll of 2008/09 School Year

Today the Hill Academy announced the first honor roll of the 2008/09 school year. Interim reports were handed out on Tuesday to students and the honor roll was published Thursday October 16. As a reward to each of the students the Hill Academy staff will be hosting an Honors Breakfast on Friday October 17. The Honor Roll students will be fed Eggs, Bacon, Pancakes and Toast on Friday morning as a token of the staff’s appreciation for the students’ effort to be successful.

“The students that are listed on the Honor Roll have one thing in common, they do not make excuses for themselves and instead work hard to achieve their goals. They all have tough athletic schedules and are taking highly academic courses yet they find a way to stand above the rest. Our entire staff is proud of their effort and we salute each and every student on this list.” Commented Dean of Students Russ Sheppard.

Dean’s List (90%-100% Average)

Honor’s List (80% to 89%)
