First Pride Council Formed

On Tuesday October 14 the students at the Hill Academy went to the polls, not the Canadian electoral polls but the Hill Academy student council polls. This date marked the first elections ever held at The Hill Academy. The main positions that were up for election were President and Director of Student Affairs. Erin O’Brien squeaked by Kajsa Cruikshank for the position of class president and Chris St. Cyr beat out Carling Wright for the Director of Student Affairs. Student Council will be working towards building school spirit and also organizing a number of activities for the year.
