Pride Hockey Gets Back On Winning Track
On Thursday October 23 our Hill Pride Men’s Hockey team hosted the squad from Cardinal Carter and finished the game with a decisive 4-1 victory. The team responded to coach Jerome Dupont’s message of “work hard at all times” with a spirited effort. The Pride seemed to dominate play from the start of the game to the end of the game, and although they did not have the finish around they net they would have liked, they still ended up filling the net on four separate occasions. Assistant Captain Brett Ritchie scored two goals for the Pride while Mike Power and Cody Payne each chipped in singles. Dylan Pietrangelo was stellar in the pipes for the Pride, making a number of acrobatic saves. The Pride team will now prepare for a rematch with rival PEAC on Tuesday October 28. The game will be hosted at Chesswood Arena with a 3PM start time.
