Brian E. Wright, HBA, MA(eng), B.Ed, OCT
Brian Wright, our energetic principal and leader, has been teaching for 35 years. Brian has completed a Bachelor of Arts from Trent University, a Bachelor of Education from Queen's University and a Masters of Arts from Queen's University. One of his life highlights was teaching at Oxford in England. "Living and teaching in an academic world that dates back more than 600 years, and produced some of the finest scholars, creative geniuses, and scoundrels has to be one of the most exciting experiences ever." Brian loves to watch movies, listen to music and read in his spare time. He defines himself by this quotation, "No sadder thing of a word or pen than think on things that might have been.

John Allardyce, HBA, BEd, OCT
Mr. Allardyce is in his second year at The Hill Academy. He is the Vice Principal, Dean of Students and teaches Exercise Science. John has been a teacher, coach and Principal over the past 37 years. Mr. Allardyce graduated from the University of Western Ontario in Physical Education and received his Education Degree from The University of Toronto. His outside interests include golf, tennis, fitness, wood-working and family time. His favourite quote is the definition of personal success from The Bible -Galatians 6:4 "Let everyone be sure and do their personal best, for then they will have the personal satisfaction of work well done, and they won't have to compare themselves with others."
Adrienne Crookshank, BSc, BMath, BEd, OCT
Ms. Crookshank has been at The Hill Academy for four years. Ms. Crookshank graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Math and Bachelor of Education degree. When she is not teaching the students Ms. Crookshank enjoys running, playing ultimate and spending time with friends and family. Ms. Crookshank lives each and every day with her favorite Coach Cohn quotation, "Always play like the score is zero-zero".
Brice Queener, BA
Mr. Brice Queener is in his third year with the Hill Academy and teaches English and History. Mr. Queener graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Mr. Queener enjoys playing and watching sports in his spare time. He also enjoys reading and watching movies. Mr. Queener is also an assistant Lacrosse Coach at the Hill and brings a wealth of knowledge to the staff after coaching Division 1 University Lacrosse the past four seasons. Bryan Bailey, B.App.Sc., B.Comm., MSc., BEd., OCT
Mr. Bryan Bailey is in his first year teaching at the Hill. Bryan first graduated from the University of Windsor, where he played football and earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Civil Engineering. After working in engineering consulting, Bryan decided to pursue study in business. This culminated in the achievement of a Master of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics in England. Bryan earned his Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Ottawa. He currently teaches business and English at the Hill. Bryan is an avid sports fan, enjoys hiking and kayaking, and loves to travel and experience different cultures. As Mark Twain said "travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness." Bryan believes that this is also true for education, and strives to achieve this same learning in his classroom.

Cheyene Creaser, HBSc, BEd, OCT
Mr. Cheyene Creaser is in his second full year with the Hill Academy and teaches Math and Physics. Mr. Creaser graduated from McMaster University with an Honors Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Physics with an Astrophysics specialization. From there he continued his education earning a Bachelor of Education from OISE at the University of Toronto. Mr. Creaser is a baseball fan first and foremost, but enjoys watching hockey, football, and all other sports. His favorite quotation comes from an episode of his favorite show Futurama; "When you do something right, people won’t be sure you've done anything at all".

Dan Noble
Coach Noble is in his fifth year of teaching at The Hill Academy. He is our head strength and conditioning coach and the director of Physical Education. Coach Noble did his undergrad at the University of Guelph and received his Masters of Science in Education from D’youville College. Before Coach Noble came to the Hill Academy he played professional football in Italy for two seasons for the Bergamo Lions of the IFL, winning two Italian super bowls and losing once in the Euro Bowl championship. In his down time he plays hockey, coach’s football at Guelph University, snowboards, and surfs. One of Coach Noble’s favorite quotes from John Wooden is “Sports do not build character. They reveal it.”

David Mooney, BSc, BEd
David Mooney is in his first year at The Hill Academy. He teaches English and Drama, and is also a Varisty Hockey Coach. David received his Bachelor of Science as well as his Bachelor of Education from the University of Toronto. While studying at University of Toronto, he was a member of the Men's Varsity Hockey team. In his spare time, David enjoys golfing, working out, and playing music. One of his favourite quotations is: "It's never crowded on the extra mile" - Roger Staubach.

Luke Madill, MSc, BEd, BEd-(Kin), DUT
Luke Madill is a graduate of both McGill University and the University of New Brunswick (UNB). While attending McGill Luke completed a Bachelor’s Degree of Education in Kinesiology and graduated as an Academic All-Canadian. After graduating from McGill Luke traveled to UNB to complete a Master’s Degree in Sport Psychology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Luke was a Dean’s list student at UNB and he completed both his degrees with a 4.0 GPA. Along with coaching the UNB hockey team, Luke also completed a Diploma in University Teaching (DUT). In his free time Luke loves to read, watch movies and golf. One of his favorite quotations is "I remind myself every morning: Nothing I say this day will teach me anything. Mike Ripley, BA, BEd
Mr. Ripley was born in Saskatoon where he attended elementary and high school. Growing up playing lacrosse, he quickly developed a goal to play collegiate lacrosse. After high school graduation, Mr. Ripley enrolled at Simon Frasier University and moved to Vancouver to begin his post-secondary education. While at SFU, Mr. Ripley played lacrosse for 4 years, and spent one more year as an assistant coach. After graduating with a Bachelor Degree in Art and Education, he moved to Vaughan to begin his career at The Hill Academy. Trevor Small, BSc, BEd, OCT
Mr. Small is in his third year at The Hill Academy teaching intermediate Math and Science. Mr. Small graduated from Lakehead University where he earned a BSc in Geography and a BEd with first class standing. In his spare time he enjoys playing baseball, watching hockey, writing music, and traveling. Wally Tymkiv
