Foundations of Sport (Grades 1-8)
The Foundations of Sport program is designed for athletes that want exposure to a variety of team and individual sports. The focus is on individual skill development through a variety of sports, activities, and experiences. Students in the Foundations of Sport program may participate in soccer, football, golf, tennis, outdoor education, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, lacrosse, hockey/skating, and many other activities.
Our goal is to promote lifelong participation in physical activity and continue to foster physical literacy; competence and confidence when participating in physical activity and the motivation to be physically active. As well as provide a multi-sport experience that that can be complementary to a sport the student-athlete is playing competitively.
