On Tuesday, December 10th, The Hill Academy welcomed some special guests into the Main Building, as student-athletes in grades 5 through 8 invited their grandparents for a fun and festive morning of crafts and hot chocolate.
Student-athletes received sliced tree discs that were harvested from the campus, giving their holiday decor a unique connection to The Hill. With the help of their grandparents they let their creativity fly with ornaments painted to look like everything from magical winter scenes to The Hill Academy logos and everything in between.
While the paint dried, grandparents and students shared a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate while discussing their upcoming plans for the holiday season. The event offered a glimpse into what a morning is like for their grandchildren, and we hope all grandparents enjoyed themselves.
