The Hill Academy Kicks Off 2025-26 School Year with Largest Student Body Ever
Caledon, ON - September 2, 2025 - The Hill Academy is excited to welcome students back to campus this fall for the start of its 19th school year, and the beginning of its 20th anniversary celebrations. With 290 student-athletes walking through the doors this morning, The Hill Academy welcomes its largest number of students in the school’s history. This year promises to be one of growth, opportunity, and community for Hill families.
The Hill Academy has designed its programs around three key pillars: academic excellence, character development, and athletic pursuit. The 2025-26 school year is shaping up to be a special one, with expanded teams and new opportunities for student-athletes of all ages.
Highlights for the year ahead include:
Lacrosse: The Boys Prep team, led by new head coach Jeff Teat, will be joined by strong a JV/Varsity squad, ready to defend their Canadian Prep Lacrosse League Championship, and a growing junior school program. The girl’s lacrosse program looks to continue to grow and thrive under Head Coach Carly Quinn and Junior School Head Coach Erica Evans.
Hockey: The Hill’s U15 AAA (2011) and U16 AAA teams (2010) join the U18 Prep team, and both Junior and Senior Development programs, creating the greatest number of hockey players in school history. Under the direction of Ryan Toomey, the program continues to grow and will look to produce its first home-grown CHL draft picks this year.
Golf: With the largest group of golfers in program history, both competitive and pre-competitive players will benefit from personalized training and development in partnership with TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley.
Foundations of Sport: Hill student-athletes will continue to build the most well-rounded athletes with this multi-sport program, which emphasizes physical literacy, teamwork, and promoting a lifelong love of sport.
Of course, athletics are only part of the story. The Hill continues to provide a full Kindergarten-to-Grade 12 and Post-Graduate academic program, with small class sizes, caring teachers, and individualized learning designed to help every student succeed, whether in the classroom, in sport, or in life.
“As we approach our 20th year in 2026, we’re so proud of the community we’ve built here at The Hill,” said Christy Flynn, Director of Academics at The Hill Academy. "Families are an important part of our community here, and I am so excited to welcome new and returning families to our 2025-2026 school year. I am so inspired by our students' commitment to reach the next level - I expect great things from our students this year."
